Blue Turkish
What breed is my cat? (#2)?
Before anyone asks, the '#2' is referring to the second question I have regarding the breeds of my other two cats. (The first being Socks, whom I thought was a Korat.)
Obi (Wan Kenobi) - bred by Siamese parents, with long fur. I have reasons to believe he is a Balinese.
Mindy - White, long-furred, with two grey patches on her head, and a fully grey tail. I was wondering if she is a Turkish Van. (A lighter version of the blue Turkish Van, perhaps?)
To be more specific with Mindy, she has light green eyes.
Obi is a seal-point.
If your cat was "bred by Siamese parents" how could it be a Balinese? If these were pedigreed Siamese then it to would be a Siamese.
And the other cat is only a Turkish Van if you bought it from a Turkish Van breeder - and there are VERY few.
Cats of particular breeds don't just "happen". They only come from the mating of pedigreed cat to pedigreed cat of the same breed and are found at breeders who sell them for $600 and up. Unless you have papers to prove otherwise your cats are simply "domestics" - cats of no particular breed just like over 97% of the cats on this entire planet.
