Why is there so much of the blue and white pottery in rivers/on beaches?
I live near a beach and walk my dog there each day and am always picking up fossils and shells etc. that interest me. I have noticed there always seems to be alot of this old white pottery with the blue pattern on, kind of an oriental style? I also remember as a child when playing in rivers we'd always find it. Just wondering why this style in particular is so scattered around?
